Trinity Bellwoods
Described by Toronto Life as "the epicentre of Toronto cool", the Trinity Bellwoods neighbourhood boasts some of the hippest galleries, shops, bars and restaurants the city has to offer along its Queen West, Ossington, and Dundas Street strips. The focal point of the neighbourhood is the very picturesque Trinity-Bellwoods Park, which runs from Queen West all the way north to Dundas St West.
The majority of houses in Trinity Bellwoods were built between 1880 and 1905. From the small to large size homes, Victorian architecture predominates throughout the neighbourhood. Some of Trinity-Bellwoods' larger and most prestigious houses are located on Crawford Street bordering the west side of the park. The streetscape of the neighbourhood is anchored by the wide, tree-lined boulevard of Shaw Street. As an alternative to its residential houses, Trinity-Bellwoods also contains a handful of interesting lofts, which only enhances the eclectic mix of the neighbourhood.
